During these years the most fundamental life skills are acquired and children thrive and grow in confidence in an environment that provides the security of a regular daily rhythm. Rich supplies of natural materials encourage imaginative play. Through songs, stories and craft activities, a relationship is formed to the time of day, the day of the week, the seasons and the festivals of the year. Activities include painting, baking, handwork, modelling and drawing. This loving and creative environment prepares the children for the next phase of school life. Kindergarten caters for children aged three and a half to six and a half years old. Monday to Friday 9.00am - 12.40pm. |
